The Negroni was invented by Count Camillo Negroni in 1919 when he chose to round off his Americano with gin rather than soda. The consumption of this potent concoction caused quite a panic – at least for the Count’s doctor, who advised his patient to drink no more than 20 Negronis per day. But really, who can resist such a delicious drink? Especially our version with Ingwerer.
- Pour all ingredients into a glass filled with ice cubes.
- Stir well.
- Squeeze the orange peel over the drink, and garnish.
