Kerala Sunset

Sweet and fruity mangos and golden sunsets: these are what make Kerala the place to be. If you’re not ready to travel to India, you can simply serve yourself a taste of South Asia at home. The Kerala Sunset was inspired by the Indian Sunset, a cocktail classic that was created in 2008 for Elton John’s ‘Character and Cocktails’ ball.

Ingredients

4 cl Ingwerer
2-3 Pieces of fresh mango
2 Cardamom pods
1 Wedge of lime
1 BL Sugar syrup
Ice

 

Garnish
Dried mango

Preparation

  • Muddle mango and cardamom pods in a cocktail shaker.
  • Squeeze the lime quarter into the shaker and add Ingwerer and sugar syrup.
  • Add ice cubes and shake well.
  • Strain into a pre-chilled glass.
  • Garnish with a slice of dried mango.
