Ginger Gin Fizz
The first recipe for the Gin Fizz appeared in 1876 in the book Bartender’s Guide or How to Mix Drinks. In its prime, the mixed drink was hailed as a hangover cure. That gave us an idea: why not create a Ginger Gin Fizz with yuzu and Ingwerer? Just try it!
Slice of ginger
- Pour the Ingwerer, gin, yuzu purée, lemon juice and sugar syrup into a cocktail shaker filled with ice cubes.
- Shake vigorously and strain into a highball glass filled with ice.
- Top off the glass with soda water. Briefly and gently stir so that the soda water blends with the mixture while staying carbonated.
- Squeeze the lemon peel over the surface of the drink. Garnish with the lemon peel and a slice of ginger.
